Integrated Training

Your program begins with a complete whole body manual therapy evaluation and treatment and selectively applies movement training for your needs. Ensuring the body’s structural balance enables the body to move freely and efficiently, as well as prevent and heal the causes of pain, spasm, inflammation, overuse, misuse or underutilization. identify and correct underlying structural patterns and habit patterns that hinder progress and cause pain and injury.reduce risk of potential injury by anticipating potential problems for that which the individual is predisposed decrease accumulated stresses •increase mobility and stability

For the dancer, Nancy offers careful guidance that understands the special needs of dance training. Working closely with you, she imparts a clear process of how each person can move foward and meet the demands of any dance form, improve technical clarity and personal expresssion. You learn how to connect to your bodys deepest sources of support and mobility resulting in articulation with natural elongation, dynamic alignment, internal strength that allows fluid motion, and total body/movement integration & organization through all planes of motion.

Integrated Rehabilitation of Dance/Sport Pain and Injuries

These specialized programs for the injured dancer or athlete offer a progressive transition from the acute stages of injury to return to activites. The treatment of complex recurrent injuries or problems that do not resolve are especially suited to a whole body manual approach.
